Stacey began her career in the early 1990s, mentored in health club management while developing her practice as a movement teacher. In 1999 she grounded her work in New York City, where she advanced through roles as program manager, instructor, private trainer, teacher-trainer, conference presenter, and keynote speaker.
Over the next two decades she contributed to the evolution of modern fitness through work with leading organizations including EQUINOX, Schwinn, BOSU, Nike, Peak Pilates, Vibram FiveFingers®, VIVO Barefoot, and Savvier Fitness—developing programming and accredited instructor education adopted internationally. During this period she also served as a studio owner and continued mentoring movement professionals across disciplines.
A series of practical insights into movement and foot function led to the creation of the willPower Method®, one of the earliest structured systems dedicated to foot-centered strength training. The method has since been adopted by instructors around the world and helped establish the now widely recognized importance of foot fitness as foundational to whole-body movement.
For nearly 25 years, Stacey has mentored movement professionals while continuing to work directly with individuals seeking meaningful change in their bodies and lives.
Her teaching integrates functional strength training with mindful awareness and emotional intelligence, reflecting a long-standing commitment to bridging science-based movement education with wisdom traditions.
Stacey is a 500-hour E-RYT certified yoga educator qualified to lead advanced teacher trainings, and she maintains an ongoing study relationship in Mysore, India. Her work draws from somatics, breathwork, meditation, Transformative Arts, Reiki, sound-based healing practices, and trauma-informed yoga. Her continuing study also includes psychedelic journeywork within legally supported contexts.
More recently, Stacey completed training in Kanda Patha, a rare dual-lineage meditation method arising from Zen and Buddhist transmissions that integrates somatics, structured breathwork, and guided meditation within a practice preserved by wisdom keepers for centuries.
Today, this body of study informs Strong Like SiLK™, her evolving approach to integrated strength and transformation through movement, breath, and awareness.
Her work supports the integration of body, breath, mind, and energy as a pathway toward clarity, resilience, and inner fulfillment.
