I began my fitness career in the early 90's. I was mentored in health club management, while I launched my practice as a teacher.
In 1999 I grounded down in New York City and climbed the ropes as a program manager, instructor and private trainer. Over the years I grew as teacher-trainer, conference presenter, key-note speaker and studio owner.
I spent two decades working for innovative brands - including EQUINOX, Schwinn, BOSU, Nike, Peak Pilates, Vibram FiveFingers, VivoBarefoot and Savvier Fitness; while developing successful fitness programming and accredited instructor education.
I nurtured the spontaneous ephianies I experienced, which led me to create a fitness program; The willPower Method which has been adopted by hundreds of instructors around the globe.
I've mentored fitness instructors for nearly 25 years, as well as coaching real people (just like you!)
I guide functional, sweaty workout sessions that have mindful and emotional components. I earned my 500 RYT in Mysore, India; my approach is a blend of west-meets-east, science meets ancient wisdom.
I draw from study in Shamanism, Transformative Arts, and Reiki. I'm a Breath Coach, Meditation Coach and I've led trauma-informed yoga to US Vets recovering from PTSD. I'm a certified Psychedelic Journeyworker, and lead exercise sessions enhanced with sacred plant medicines. I also guide sound-healing sessions with Tibetan singing bowls.
I've recently earned my certification in an ancient dual-lineage meditation technique called Kanda Patha. This transformative process arising from Zen and Buddhist transmissions uniquely combines somatics, structured breathwork and guided meditation as method that's been protected by wisdom keepers for centuries.
